This is it! Again! The long been delayed feature for our friends and relatives! We are so happy that we were able to do this once again and one great news about this is that we will be doing this on a daily basis! How's that for a change? Nice right? If you have been previously featured here please don't lose heart. It is a move that we made so that a lot of people can be featured here and it would be worth reading rather than sending a trunk load of information fit for just a month. We believe that this would be much more exciting! Easier to read and less errors to make.
So to break the silence we now present to you our featured Who's Who for the day. Are you ready? She is no other than our gorgeous friend, Ms. Dolly Macam. Thanks to my loving fiance because he was the one who introduced me to her. They were friends first, working on the same company as my fiance's boss and both serving in the SFC Community. Meeting her for the first time was intimidating because she caught my attention, especially her looks -her lovely black shiny tresses is for me one of her best features, the way she handles herself and more importantly her great love for fashion and other girly stuff.

Our introduction was fast and we clicked immediately. I remember she was the one who noticed my features first and she gave a positive feedback on them. Thanks Dolly for that message and your continued admiration, I too am admired by your personality. Other than her personality, what I like most about her is her passion for creativity and discovering new things. She has a sweet smile, yes, but behind that is one tough woman to beat. She is opinionated but also open to accept criticisms from others. But the most and best attribute that we love about her is her love for cooking and serving her family and friends with oh so great goodies! Since March is the month of change, we are featuring people who have undergone major changes in their lives. Their stories are truly admirable and worth reading and we are truly happy and grateful that they have considered us as friends and hope that we learn from their stories and be inspired. We now present to you our March makers.
First on the spotlight is a very dear lady to me. A mom of three lovely boys, she devotes her time fully to her family as a full-time mom. She is married to a very responsible and ehem! handsome guy named April Dionela, who also loves his family and his wife so much. Oh! we forgot to tell you the name of this lady, she is Ailee Dionela by the way.

What made Ailee and us connect is how their love story was written by no other than, our Mr. Love, Papa God. Their story is somewhat similar to us, around 90% similar. And I know that God allowed us to meet Ailee because of this common event. She is like an older sister to us, most especially during the times when we felt that we are so far away with each other, without any clue whether or not God really wants us to be partners in life. Fortunately thou since this woman have experienced it with her husband, April.We were sure that God indeed wants us to be one. Recently, she gave birth to a cute little boy. Few people know that despite her angelic face and timidity, this friend of ours experienced pre-delivery and delivery pains. She said that what she experienced were beyond indescribable and she just comforts her pain by relying greatly on the healing power of God. Extra care were considered while she was pregnant and we thank God that it was already over.

We were in shock when we asked Ailee about the role that she will have. She was in tears when she said yes and we were touched by that sweet gesture. Sis, we will never forget that day! God bless you and your family.
Next in line we have Mr. Hudson Bariso. A guy with a body to die for, this lad had evolved from being an underdog to a very well-respected team leader in his work today. He is the eldest among his siblings and currently he stands as the bread winner of his family.

Hudson has embraced changed little by little but the impact that he made was big, mostly from his high school friends and classmates. As a high school student, he was just a simple, quiet and an animal-loving person. He loves to be with his friends and he always creates events or parties in his Laguna pad. When his father couldn't work anymore due to illness, Hudson became the acting head of the family. He loves his family so much, that he is willing to sacrifice some of his personal needs for the benefit of his family.

Hudson loves adventure and doing out of town trips. He loves to go to the beach, sometimes with friends, workmates or with family members. He works hard but knows how to manage his time wisely. We will be grateful if Hudson accepts our invitation.Please dear! Thanks!Ü
The next lady is...guess her nationality? Korean or Chinese? Answer? None of the above. The next lady is a pure Filipina, but with a twist. Her surname is not likely Filipino but her nature and values are 100% true-blue Filipino. Her real name is Amelia Teresa Canon, known as Meh by most of her friends. This lady is one of the persons we admire, not only because she has great looks and a good heart, but also because she is intelligent and has a deep relationship with God. She is an actuary, which according to Wikipedia is a business professional who deals with the financial impact of risk and uncertainty. They provide expert assessments of financial security systems, with a focus on their complexity, their mathematics, and their mechanisms. Ehemm....Ü

Even if this lady is a math wizard, she doesn't brag about it and other people actually don't know that she graduated with such course. Currently, she is a business development manager belonging in one of the big real estate companies here in the country. Changes are not new to her, especially growing up differently by just the love and support of her father and siblings, this lady grew to be very loving, not only to her family but to all the people around her. Growing up without a mother didn't make Meh less of a person, in fact this made her become the person that God wants to be

Meh, like any other lady hopes to be married and have a complete family. She and her boyfriend Kyle played a very important role in making the events in our life as a couple possible. Truly both of them needs to be acknowledged! Meh has shown her willingness in participating in this project and we are honored to have her in our list. When a friend is in need, this guy will surely heed. Smart, thrifty and good-looking are the adjectives that best describe this person. Born and raised as a Chinoy, Heinjie Ting is a friend that you can surely count on. Known to us as Jie, this guy have experienced major, major changes in his life. His experience has taught him to face life courageously, amidst all the challenges and troubles that it brings. His known to be a good listener but his friends and he has a lot! From all walks of life and from all ages. You can call him a teacher, an advisor, a brother,etc., and he will never fail to give a good comment.

Heinjie became a dad at a young age but despite that he has proved to be a good provider to his son Ivan. He makes time for him considering that this lad has a busy schedule. Common to typical Chinese or Chinoy families, Jie was exposed to a lot of business ventures and currently he is running their meat shop and grocery store. Nice one Jie!

Having a friend like him is really a blessing. This person is not only good in numbers, but also he is good in singing. He likes doing acoustic versions of some alternative songs and some fast songs. When we mentioned to Heinjie his role in the wedding, he said that he will really prepare and try his best to make the role as good as possible. Aww! That was sweet Jie! Can't wait!
When it comes to principles and ideals, Lissy is the name. A corporate, chic and God-fearing woman, this lady is really true to her word. Considered as one of the leaders in her community, Lissy is always up to her game. Whether she may be in work or other extra activities outside work, excellence is always what you see.

She loves to travel with her family and is very active in the LOJ Singles community. She does hosting, program coordination, events and more. Aside from events, her another love is fashion. Yes! This lady is a 101% fashionista! She even opened her online store years ago. Her looks can not be looked unnoticed because it is really evident. She can sport any style, from a simple shirt and jeans, to a chic and stylish ensemble, up to a formal, classy attire. With her flawless skin, it's hard not to notice Lissy.

Challenges are always a part of us and for this lady, her challenges are more concentrated in work. Changes have been observed, change in workplace, change in roles, change in perspectives. But because she has the faith and confidence in God's hands, she was able to overcome those hurdles in her career life. We didn't thought that she would accept the role we have given. Why? Because she is already used to that role. However, she said that ours was different and we are happy that she did accept it! Thanks Lissy for accepting it! We are so blessed to have you!
When you meet someone from SFC SB5A chapter, ask them if they know Mr. Raymar Ranin, if they don't, consider them not a genuine SFC SB5A member.Hehehe. Raymar or Raym as we call him is a public figure among the SB5A chapter. He is known not only because he is ehemm, good-looking and fun to be with, but more because of his unending service to the community. Raymar, together with his wife is he is one of the cluster heads of South B and we praise God for giving us this couple to guide us and the whole South B. They definitely deserve to have this status.

When it comes to values and discipline, most especially in our community, Raymar will definitely guide you and tell you what's wrong and what is right. Raymar and Hazel's love story is unique from us but the common factor that we shared is that it was God who created it. And if we are excited, so are they! If we would be celebrities, we bet that Raymar and Hazel would be a fan! Their support is so overwhelming and we just don't know how we can replace that. We have seen their presence and support from the very start and Raymar was one of those people who vouched that we will be together. Thanks Raym! I know that you have prayed for us. February is considered as the “Love Month”. Reds and hearts cover our surroundings everywhere. A lot of sweet-smelling flowers and cuddly stuff toys are being displayed and sold to a lot of stores out there. Valentine’s day is already here and celebrating it with your honey, sweetheart, baby… whatever term of endearment that is, isn’t the only reason to celebrate this season. This day can be celebrated by giving some people the acknowledgement that they deserve. You have shared your love with us and the one of the ways that we can repay you is to let the whole world know how lucky we are to have you as our lovable friends or relatives!
Let me start with a girl named Ariadne Jolejole. A girl who have lost and found love, not in the arms of a muscular hunk, but in the arms of her loving family. She lost her mom at the age of 10 years old and had unique and strange challenges as she moves forward to the next level of her life. A lot of people admire Ariadne , not only because of the fact that she is physically admirable- 5’6 in ht, well-proportioned body, long locks, and has a great personality, but mainly because of her positive attitude towards life. She just laughs about her challenges, but faces them whole-heartedly.
This girl lives her life to the fullest. She knows how to balance work, family and play time. One of her favorite motto is “Work hard, party harder”, and she lives up to that. An educator by profession, she teaches Economics to high-school international students within the south area. Her favorite past-times are shopping,travelling, watching concerts, partying and of course doing kikay things.

Her preferences are somewhat odd and weird, which only few people can appreciate. Nevertherless, her uniqueness is her asset why she has a lot of “fans”. When asked about the role that she will participate to, she wasn’t that excited because she is used to that role. But after several conversations on how this will be different from her other participations, made her think twice. Just kidding… that made her more excited! Thanks Ariadne for deciding to participate. You will be blessed more.
Our next lovable person is no other than Mr. Erwin Santos. Kuya Erwin as what many call him, is one of the finest gentleman we know. He is quiet, responsible, man of few words, and humble. Erwin is really a kuya in their family. He is the eldest among the four children of Tito Noel and Tita Cherrie Santos. He is not only serving hid family as the “kuya” but also he is serving the SFC community with the same level.

SFC was the organization that brought us all together. Erwin has been our confidante in terms of issues regarding our faith, community and other facts of life. He has been our supporter and he has witnessed how God wrote our love story. Erwin never left us during events that were dear to us and he was there not only as a guest but either a host, a witness or whatever as long as he can be of service to his friends.

Next in line is the lady that we find attractive, be in a simple get-up and more in a formal attire. Her toned physique and morena hue is what makes her so lovely physically. May we present to you Ms. Chel Niere. I can describe her as a fashionista in her own way. This lady is not the lady that you wanna mess around. A manager in a BPO firm, this girl loves to hang out with friends and loves to explore new adventures and tasks. What is admirable about her is her simplicity and the way she handles herself. She has surpassed a lot of trials in her life and now lives her life to the best.

We came across thru SFC, again, but this time when we met she was a participant and was very eager to attend the talks and events. She was with us when the “revelations” came and like the others who were there to witness it, she was also happy. This girl loves to enjoy life by being with friends and knows how give a good laugh, whatever it may be that can make her giggle.

Our next hunk in line is no other than our friend, a lover of creativity and arts, our favorite director, Ryan Nikolai Diño. One of the great talents that we have ever met, this guy is really excels at his game. A scriptwriter, director, creative enthusiast and of course a lover of the Creator of Life. He knows how to use his talents as how God wants us to do. Sharing his talents and services to anyone is one of the things that we love about him. He is full of ideas all the time and he never fails to impress us.

Directing is his main passion.He took part in a lot indie films already as an asst. director and as the director. His participation includes, Namets, Pendong and Ang Ibig Sabihin ng OK lang. Creativity plus passion plus hardwork equals good quality films done Ryan Diño’s way.Some of the films mentioned above became finalists and were featured in some movie festivals here in the country.

Not only is he passionate in his craft, but he is more than passionate in serving God thru SFC. He started in the service year 2007 and right now he is part of the roster of SFC SB5a service team heads. His talent was also shared in the community and true enough, every activity led by him was really a one-of-a kind event. Working with him is always an experience that we enjoy. Apart from directing, he also loves photography, fashion, advertising, and travelling. Ryan will always have a special place in our hearts and that is why we have invited him to be a part of our big day. He felt grateful and we were happy he accepted it. Kudos to you direk!!! And of course the last but definitely not the least is Ms. Imelda Punzalan. The only lady among the five children of Nimfa and Frank Punzalan and also the youngest . Simple and elegant, this beauty knows how to deal with whatever challenge she is facing. Her guts and instincts led her to what she is now and her family is very grateful for all her successes in life. She loves to travel and explore things that are new and exciting and she will never stop until she reaches her goal. Patience is one key feature that we love about this lady and surely, that patience made her a very good person.

Being raised as the youngest and only girl has its own advantages and disadvantages. She was able to come out a strong, smart and a beautiful person inside and out. Her work involves a lot of challenges, including a lot of physical and emotional stress but its nothing to her. To be with her family is her utmost priority and even with her hectic schedule, she manages to have time with her family.

Our January Favorites
It's so nice to start the year with thanksgiving and gratefulness. We are both grateful to end the year with a lot of good things that happened in our lives. Conceptualizing and planning a wedding is not easy and God has truly equipped us with people who are very eager to help and participate in our big day.
Ever since we started planning, we have already told ourselves that we will be giving much importance not only on the preparations but more on the sacrament of matrimony and also our participants. God has inspired us to personally handpick these people and we are very pleased to introduce to you our January Favorites:
First in line is my good friend, Elena. We were friends since college and she has been a very good friend to me eversince. What I like about her is the way that she handles her self and her visions in her life. The second child among three daughters, Elena has been an inspiration to me. I remember during our college days, I used to ask for sleep-over sessions in their house. Their home was like a second home to me. Her room was one of the coziest rooms that I have ever stayed and I really loved their full (meaning with food and clothing provided) accommodation!Ü

We parted ways around 2006 when she was assigned to work in Dubai. Things definitely changed, we had our own set of priorities and our communication was cut for a moment. But because of the gift of technology, we had our friendship active once again. I am very proud of this woman. She has grown to be a very responsible daughter and an excellent employee. With her grateful attitude, she has paid for the operation of her mom and has helped a lot of her friends too. But what surprised me the most is when she got the top spot in the beauty pageant that her company organizes. And mind you, she is unbeatable for four consecutive wins already!!! You are such a winner girl!For me Elena deserves that kind of blessing because she is indeed a generous and a loving person.

Next in the roster is another good friend of mine, Darlene. Looking at this petite woman, one can say that she can be easily wooed and swayed by guys but it's not like what you think. With her well-chiseled cheeks and straight long locks, this woman can definitely keep someone treat her with utmost respect. Having worked as a publicist for the ex-vice-president Noli de Castro. She faces the tough world of the press and meets goverment officilas with professioanlism and confidence that makes her one of the publicist of choice by the former vice -president.

Darlene and I had shared a lot joys and pains. We had petty fights and argued about nonsense things but these things didn't affect our friendship. It made our bond stronger and more meaningful. I met her during the time that I am looking for a purpose in my life. She became one of my CG(Caring group) mates from my former community and till now our friendship is a-ok! Her interests include writing, making crafts, cooking, watching "intelligent" films and of course taking care of her beautiful household and her self. A lover of make-up fashion and other kikay stuff, this woman is definitely a stunner wherever she goes!

Another favorite for this month is our only featured guy, Nicky. He is one of our brothers in SFC (Singles for Christ). Currently he is the chapter head of SB5A chapter together with Meliz. He started serving in the community around year 2007, that is when he met Ryane. The two guys became close when Ryane joined Nicky and our other fellow sfc sisters in the prison ministry. Nicky has been a public figure in the community. He went into several places to reach out to give talks and share his life story to people who are sturggling to become a better christian.

Being a chapter head takes much patience and confidence and before reaching this state in his service, God molded Nicky to be the best fit for a chapter leader. He became music ministry head year 2007, household head year 2008,unit head 2009 and then chapter head. Nicky has inspired because iof his story of conversion. A self-declared alcholic, he had struggled with his alcohol addiction in the past years. He experienced the fun and happenings of what a normal teenager does but with a twist. He goes to school drunk, goes out with different girls, gimmicks without boundaries and sometimes when he is drunk he just sleeps wherever he stops. He had a life that is not full of hatred and depression. Amidst all those things, God called him to be a servant. He joined SFC 2006 , and the rest is history.

Apart form serving in the community, running is also his passion. He had finished full marathons already, which is by the way, 42 kms! and still bringing running to a higher level. In our chapter he pioneered the introduction running for a cause activities together with some sfc brothers also. Their initiative raised funds for people who have physical incapacities or sickness that needs immediate operation. Nicky really served God whole-heartedly. With his dedication to his service, especially in the prison ministry, he was one of the awardees of the Gawad ng Paglilingkod Award, an award given by the Episcopal Commissionon Prison Pastoral Care.Congrats bro!

When it comes to interntional stars and the ins and outs of hollywood celebritries, this woman is my number one source. An avid fan of the Twighlight series, she certainly knows the story by heart. Our next featured person is Kay. I am blessed to know her in our Christian Life Program (CLP). What I love about this girl is her ability to mulit-task and still managed to look pretty and confident. We became colleagues around 2009 and working with her was a breeze. She was very professional and organized and consistent with the tasks assigned to her.

We went to Bohol last February 2009 to explore the island, relax and bond together with other SFC friends before attending the ICON which is going to be held in Cebu. She was one of those people who have noticed how me and Ryane got close during that trip. She is one of those girls that I call "My Bohol Angels" because they have approved Ryane as someone fit for me.That is where also God revealed to me that Rye is the one but nothing materialized during those days. We had our "moments" and kay and the rest of the gang was just there happily witnessing those events.

Other than us, Kay is also excited for the big day! She has followed our love story and she continues to amaze us with her beautiful comments and of course her cute smile. I like her much when she wears red lipstick, it just a makes her face glow the more! Thanks Kay for accepting our invitation to participate in our wedding. May you send more smiles to everyone.
And the last person to be featured this month is my beautiful cousin, Renette. What can I say? Define beautiful, she is the answer. Not only is she beautiful on the outside - morena, long black hair, proportional body and a well tamed-brows, but she is surely an angel inside. I am proud of this cousin of mine because she have experienced so much at a very young age. Responsible, hard-working and generous are some of the traits that I can say about her and the list of her positive traits still goes a long way.

Growing up with separated parents became a challenge for their family. She stopped school to help her family especially her dad who has diabetes. She took care of her father by means of assisting him in all his needs, may it be financial or medical. She almost ended up using all her salary for the medical needs of her dad. But on 2008, her father died. It was a very lonely moment for her family and with God's grace and help they were able to move forward.

Neth's interests are reading, surfing the net, watchinng movies and listening to great music. She also likes to write and has a great fashion sense. She is happily sharing a room with her brother's house and she loves to take care of her very cute niece and nephew. What I like about this girl is her humility above all else. When we gave her role in our wedding she was greatly amazed on the plans and her participartion in the said event. Thanks Neth! You are a very nice person. Please don't change. God bless!Ü
